We go there frequently for group lunches. The food is down home cooking and always good. The service is good as well.
I've had plenty of visits to give a in depth review of this place, I will hold off on giving the bad side (terrible service and blatant favoritism to older guests and Hispanic guests feel free to send me a message if you want more...More
The girls at work introduced me to a new spot in Santa Fe Springs. Man o man this was delicious. I had this 2 days in a row. First I had their wet burrito which was AWESOME. Then the next day I had their crunchy...More
Best burger in town! It's always busy on Friday night but we'll worth the wait. The fries are always fried to perfection and the burgers are juicy and delicious
This place is legit. It's been here since 1972.
Try the Piedmontese Burger with zip sauce, whitefish, blackened tenderloin tips, scotch egg, calamari, mount vernon sandwich with honey roasted turkey, etc.
Yeah you'll have to wait in line most likely but it will be worth it. Expect it to be dimly lit with red hued lighting, expect a line of people waiting, expect a good beer list, expect to be stuffed n' smiling by the time you leave.
Went for dinner last night with my parents, aunt and uncle, and wife. After a brief wait, totally understandable considering we walked in at 8:30 on a Saturday night, we were seated in the bar area. Our server, granted the place was busy, was rude and kind of pushy, annoying considering my parents are elder and it was loud. I asked for a beer reco for my dad, and he sighed and said, "well, we have a lot of those." Once we had our beer order in, it took 15 minutes for them to come out! Other parties around us were served drinks while we waited, and we also were never asked if we wanted a 2nd beer. When it came time to ordering our food, he rushed us again and made me feel like we were inconveniencing him. On a positive note, the food was awesome. We split a burger, fish and chips, Shepherd's Pie, and the prime rib dinner. Great place for food, lousy waiter!
